Property management companies work with a lot of money. Make sure their record is
squeaky clean.
Mistake #2
Make sure they are a member of the National Association of Residential Property
Managers. Property management companies who don’t engage with their peers are
rarely the best providers.

Mistake #3
Find a company large enough to offer proper service. Single person and even small
operates cannot properly manage your clients property. They don’t have the systems,
they don’t have the insurance and they don’t have the personnel to take over if
someone is sick or goes on vacation.
This is often overlooked and will likely lead to a negative experience for you and your client.
